In store EPOS - Laptop & barcode scanner
E-commerce via SagePay
Caroline Charles is a much respected and talented fashion designer whose label has grown since the 60s. Finance required a system that was not paper-based and two weeks in arrears. Marketing wanted to turn their brochure website into an e-commerce tool. Sales needed a way to sell in-store, and transfer and monitor stock in other stores. Production was interested in stock control and purchasing.
We designed an Electronic Point of Sale – EPOS System. The EPOS was designed with a user-friendly interface that allowed all store sales to be logged directly within Sage Line 200. A numbering system was developed as a product code that enabled barcode generation and printing of receipts. Sales assistance could transfer and sell products from other stores.
Sales figures were made real time – waiting up to two weeks on paper records from stores by post was a thing of the past. Manual data entry within Sage no longer consumed the Finance Manager’s time.
Production could purchase through the system that was directly logged within Sage line 200, manage stock levels and load new stock to each store. Marketing was able to showcase the latest product lines and now sell online. Online sales updated the central stock levels database and were also logged directly to Sage Line 200.
