London Borough of Barking & Dagenham required a name for a new joint community centre. Our role on this project was brand consultants to a committee of 15 stakeholders that all had strong views on what it should be called, how the centre should function and their brand existence within it.
This is a centre with a strong educational base with the key stakeholder being Jo Richardson Community School. The main challenge was to ensure the centre would reach out and engage the community in the activities offered, as well as those that are attending the school.
The results of the various consultations were assessed and formed the foundations for the naming, identity and brand development work.
